The children at Cassidy Preschool learn skills that will last a lifetime. We strive to nurture creativity and foster a sense of belonging for each and every one of our students. We provide a program of thematic, play-based learning in a loving, Christian environment. It is our priority to give children opportunities to make discoveries, learn problem solving skills, and to develop a sense of self and spirituality. Please come by and look around. Cassidy Preschool offers programs for children from three to four years of age.Four year olds come to school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 until 12:00. Tuition is $165 per month.
Three year olds come to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 until 11:30. Tuition is $125 per month.Our tuition includes a snack each school day. Many times our snacks are part of our curriculum. For example, when four year olds are reading the book , If You Give A Pig A Pancake, and learning about letter P, they will have pancakes for a snack that day. We are always careful to accomodate any children that may have food allergies!
Our tuition also includes all art supplies and other supplies such as tissues, hand sanitizer, etc. Parents are not asked to send any supplies.On special occasions, such as Christmas and Easter, classes celebrate with parties, and on those days, parents are invited and encouraged to bring special snacks for the children (sign-up sheets are posted outside classroom doors).
Cassidy's Quality Assessment score in May 2015 was 6.11 out of 7.00.
At Cassidy Preschool, our top priority is teaching Christian values. Children learn about caring for each other, praying for each other and others, and being good stewards of what God has given us. Bible stories are shared with the children, they experience Chapel with our pastor, and they learn important things that will stay with them for a lifetime. Children learn to recite the Lord ’s Prayer, sing songs of praise, and watch the miracle of God’s creation by studying nature in the beautiful garden and in the classroom (for example, when Monarch caterpillars transform into the caterpillars, seeds grow, etc). In a warm and loving environment, children have opportunities to offer prayer in their own words, and are taught to listen and care about the prayers of their friends. Each child is valued as a unique, individual person created in the image of God. One of the ways we encourage the creativity and uniqueness of each individual is that children make their own books using art as well as written and spoken word. The unique gifts and talents of parents, grandparents, and other family members are treasured at Cassidy Preschool as well! We welcome family members to come and share with the children. Through the years, the children have had opportunities to learn from many in this way, including doctors, dentists, vets, musicians, and farmers (who have been known to bring animals for us to meet!)
